Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is my card safe during the process?

Yes. We never take your actual card from you. You keep it the whole time. We send you a custom metal card shell, and you replace the chip from your old plastic card into the new one at home. Your card number and personal details are never shared with us.

2. How does it work?

When you order, we make a custom metal card for you. You’ll receive it in the mail with easy instructions. You take the chip out of your existing card (the one your bank gave you) and insert it into the new metal card. It’s quick, safe, and works exactly like your old card.

3. How long does delivery take?

We usually ship orders within 3–4 business days. Delivery time depends on your location — most orders arrive in 5–12 business days. Express shipping is available if you want it faster.

4. Do you ever see my card details?

No. We never see your card number, name, or chip. You move the chip yourself, so your personal and banking information stays private.

5. Will my bank allow this?

Yes. Your card works the same way because it’s still your original chip and card number — only the body changes.

6. What happens if my package is lost?

We ship with tracking so you can see where your order is at all times. If it gets lost in transit, we’ll send you a replacement free of charge.

7. Can I choose my own design?

Yes! You can pick from our designs or send your own. We can add your name, company logo, patterns, or any custom style.

8. Will the metal card work everywhere?

Yes, it will work anywhere your plastic card works because it uses the same chip. Some older payment machines or ATMs might have trouble reading heavier cards — in those cases, keep your original plastic card as a backup.

9. What materials do you use?

We use high-quality stainless steel or titanium. These metals are durable, scratch-resistant, and have a premium weight and feel.

10. Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Delivery times vary depending on your location and shipping method.

11. What if my chip doesn’t work after moving it?

If you follow our instructions carefully, it should work without issues. If the chip is damaged during transfer, the card will no longer work and you’ll need to get a new chip card from your bank.

12. Is the card heavy?

It’s heavier than a plastic card but still fits easily in wallets. Most customers love the premium feel.

13. Should I protect it in my wallet?

Yes. Use a card sleeve or keep it in a separate slot to avoid scratches.

14. Are you linked to my bank or card company?

No. We are an independent company, not connected to American Express®, Visa®, Mastercard®, or any bank.

15. What happens to my old plastic card?

Once you remove the chip, the old card won’t work. You can keep it as a souvenir or cut it up for safety.

16. What happens when my card expires?

When your bank sends a new plastic card, you can transfer the chip into your existing metal card or order a new custom one from us.

17. Can I order more than one card?

Yes. Many customers order extra metal cards for different accounts or as backups.

18. Can I gift a metal card?

Yes. You can order one as a gift, and the person can transfer their chip into it when they receive it.

19. Can you engrave both the front and back?

Yes. We can customise one side, both sides, or create a completely unique design.

20. Do you make matching sets?

Yes. If you have multiple cards, we can make them all with the same style or theme.

21. How long does the chip transfer take?

Usually just 5–10 minutes. Our guide makes it easy, even if you’ve never done it before.

22. Are these real American Express®, Visa®, or Mastercard® cards?

No. These are custom-made metal shells inspired by card designs. They are not issued by any bank. You move your own chip from your bank-issued card to make it work.
